The predecessor to the modern round brilliant, Old European diamonds were cut primarily between 1890 and 1930, and were the stars of Art Deco jewelry. Faceted in an era before machine cutting, these diamonds have a larger culet, steeper angles and a unique sparkle that favored fire over brilliance.
Because of the time and place they were mined, antique diamonds are always conflict-free. Upcycled from antique jewels, they are a beautiful example of sustainable luxury.
